FutureBlox was requested to propose, design, implement and manage the IT infrastructure for the client. The system should be capable to host the components used in the ITMS (Integrated Ticket Management System) project. IT infrastructure includes the main Data Centre (OCC) and the Disaster Recovery Site (DR), both to be hosted on AWS cloud. The system should be able to handle 1 million transactions per day, 0.1 million transactions per hour and should have 99.99% availability. The system should also have a capacity to handle 5000 mobile devices (validators). A disaster recovery site also needs to be implemented in the cloud for providing business continuity in case of a disaster / failure at the OCC.
Based on customer requirements, FutureBlox designed and implemented the DC and DR in the AWS cloud in two different regions. The infrastructure was designed based on PCI DSS compliance guidelines, meeting highest standards in security, high availability, and fault tolerance.
